A Boat Safari, Or Not

Alan's parents invited us to the lake this weekend so that we could go on a boat safari on Sunday. The safari was actually cancelled right before we were supposed to leave due to high wind, but we had the best weekend anyway! On Saturday, we did lots of playing and some boating. Alan and the girls did a little jet skiing. On Sunday, we did a lot more playing and then came up with our own little safari (or boat ride to Marble Slab)! We ended the day with a jet ski ride that soaked us all! The wind this weekend was wild! Anyway, safari or no safari, we all had a wonderful weekend of relaxation and playtime!

And, my personal favorite, my hottie husband!!!
I need a poster size print of this one!

MDO Music Performance

Maci had a Spring Music Program at school. Her class and one other class wore their "class shirts" and performed about 5 or so songs for their friends and family. Alan couldn't get away from work, but his mom and I got to see the performance. It was adorable. Maci didn't really care for a couple of the songs they sang, so she just stood there smiling, but on a few of the songs, she really got into it. I was one proud mamma!

Easter Dresses the Weekend After Easter

Well, the weather was beautiful today, so I got a chance to put the girls back in their Easter dresses for some pictures. Since we were in Sulphur Springs last Sunday, the girls wore their Easter dresses to our church this morning and no one was the wiser. I got a few shots of them before we left! When we got home, the girls took their naps and then went outside for some much needed outside playtime. I also posted a few pictures of their playtime. They were so busy, it was pretty cute. Maci had Payton being her work horse, the beauty of being the big sister I suppose! Fun times! They are now upstairs getting a much needed bath! I love Spring afternoons outside with the fam. Good times!
