Water Day

Maci had a water day at her preschool on Tuesday after we brought Blake home. Since Alan is home with us for a couple of weeks, he took Payton and they went to watch. Once her water day was over, they came home and had a water day of their own in our back yard. Alan bought the girls a good ole fashion slip'n'slide. He even demonstrated proper slip'n'slide technique to get them started. Blake and I sat in the shade and watched them all three have a ball! It was a lot of fun!

Introducing Blake Alan Meers

Blake Alan Meers made his grand appearance on May 6, 2010 at 1:22 PM. He weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz. He is 20 1/4 inches long. We got to bring home our very healthy, adorable baby boy on Saturday and have been snuggling with him every moment of every day since then. Alan and I cannot get over how incredibly blessed we are. We are loving our time together as a family of five! Alan has two weeks off to spend bonding and loving on our sweet family. I'm going to hate it when he has to go back to work. So far, Blake is a very easy baby. You can hardly hear him breath much less make any other sounds. At 6 days old, that is sure to change, but we are loving these sleepy snugly days. Please enjoy some pictures of our newest addition. We couldn't be more proud!
